Big Valve Heads?? Are they needed for the dual purpose Street/ Aggressive Drivers??

We have read on the Forums that the way to power is thru a BVH ( Big Valve Head) Ported Head.  That the stock MCS head is quite restrictive and needs to be PORTED and have the larger valves added, to allow the HP from our mods to come together and build the power we all want.  This is true in part!  More air in and out the more the power gains!  However thru the larger ports and valve size, you can have a loss of the power when we are "off boost", the trip to the store or the daily commute to and from work!!!

What I have done is to show the HP gains are there with a PORTED Head change, however keeping the valve to a realistic size for the MINI enthusiast that likes good mileage and doesn't live at the track racing at high rpm levels, however loves the aggressive drives on the twisties and thru the mountains occasionally.  Thus the TPR-1 Head.  A ported and polished Head for the Driver with the basic mods done ( CAI/ 15%/ Cat back) that will keep most of the low to mid range for the daily commute, and still power to the red line thru the turns.  ADD in a camshaft, up the pulleys to a 17% or more, Header, higher RPM limits and injectors.. then the TPR-2 Head is closer to your needs allowing you upgrades take advantage of the additional throat/ bowl work and increased valve size.

Again we are showing the ECU in the stock configuration.. no TUNE! Add the TUNE and the HP levels will only go up.

Full on Racers.. we do a Head for you also, and NOW the BVH is coming into its own!!  RACING!!  The TPR-3 !!
